Basis of Slavery

It is important to understand the basis of slavery. It started with the subjugation of one gender by laws. The laws influenced the naming of the genders to fit the laws of subjugation.

In 2400BCE Manu of the Hindi put Sloka V into law - the subjugation of one gender to the other.
1000 years later 'God' was given the name E-manu-el, meaning the manu in us.
1000 years after god was named Emanuel the Romans put The Manus into law: the authoritative control of the husband over the wife. From this we can trace - Manu - Emanuel - Manus back 4000 years. Patriarchy, slavery and feudalism went on for 4000 years to about 1850ACE.

Language developed with these laws and social systems in mind. The name man, from Manu , means male slave. W-o-man is wife-of-slave. Males who were not slaves were Lords.

Today it is belief that "man consists of man and woman as humans" In an earlier post I showed this to be false. These are not names based in reality. They are based in patriarchal ideology, rule and control by Lords.

The Truth

It’s time to bring things together and put them on the table for all to see. Let’s have a good look at Truth in names rooted in gender. In reality there are millions of truths.

Woman is the Apfig of Mankind

To start we say: mankind consists of man and woman as humans, repetitious naming using the name man. In an earlier blog we learned that Manu subjugated one gender to the otherby law 4000 years ago? In another blog we learned that the Manus by the Romans 2000 years later put this idea into law again? And in 2010 we believe mankind consists of man and woman as humans is Truth? There are big problems in reasoning for good thinking and a huge implication for intelligence in this Truth.

When we say that “man consists of man and woman as humans” we are actually saying: man is and is not male. We do not say an electron is and is not a negative charge. This is confusing and false. Man is and is not male is a falsehood we use to live life.

A fact is missing. The fact is: Being man in reality entails ONLY being male. It cannot be the case that being man (also) entails NOT being male. We cannot pretend that man is TWO genders. In fact ‘man’ excludes one half of the species. Half the species are not male. The harms done to both genders by falsehoods and missing facts are many and are described in my book An Inconvenient Lie.

To continue, since being man entails only being male, what does ‘woman’ mean? Like the tactic of adding ‘ap’ to fig, wo is added to ‘man’ to name her woman. The real definition of a woman then is: a ‘man’ (in name) who’s not a man in reality, she’s not male. ‘Woman’ is another falsehood. Another fact is missing. You start to see the buildup of falsehoods and missing facts. This ‘lowers’ the intelligence and creates the perception of having an insufficient mind, a mind that needs help ‘to live the right way.’

Finally, like ‘ap’ is added to fig, ‘hu’ is added to ‘man to make human. ‘Hu’ cannot and does not change ‘man’ to mean a species of two men of opposite genders. This is not only absurd, it is another falsehood. Another fact is missing.

Before these falsehoods were Truth each gender had made more correct names, names that were truer to the reality of each gender. These names were put out of usage to push the patriarchal agenda. .

Belief is not the same as Knowledge

First, the term believe comes from the concept of “loving an idea.” To belove an idea made the symbol believe. When you are asked to believe something you are being asked to belove the idea being planted in your mind.

The difference between believing something and knowing something can be as wide as the difference between having a glass of poisonous water and a glass of pure water to choose from. Both glasses look like they contain drinkable water, right? To lose the meaning of what it means to believe is to lose the ability to tell the difference between belief and knowledge. It is to lose the meaning of what it means to be ‘ignorant’.

Knowledge is about the way reality is, it states reality-as-it-is. Knowledge is about facts and the many truths. Belief is about the Truth, an absolute way about the way the world is as told -- by someone else. Belief is dangerous.

Ignorance and (the amount of) intelligence (one has) are often purposely made out to be the same thing. Not believing (in something) has often been called ignorance, soon translated as having ‘an insufficient mind’. The basic belief in belief is that you have to believe in something and someone to give you guidance to live “the right way.”

Here again, this is the circular argument that too many people do not recognize as being false. Belief in falsehoods begets more belief in falsehoods. People ‘believe’ (belove the idea) that they have “to believe” the Truth to live “the right way.”

The Truth has nothing to do with knowledge. Knowledge is about the millions of facts and the millions of truths about the what, how, where, when of reality-as-it-is. Reality has billions of cause and effect relationships that we must put together correctly. The basis of truths expands intelligence, builds knowledge and accumulates wisdom.

Being the architect of my life and my identity

Be the architect of my life? What? Not me! I don’t have the intelligence.

Why would you believe you don’t have the intelligence to be the architect of your own life? Who else lives your life? Why should someone else have a say in what and who you are? Who told you that you didn’t have the right amount of intelligence? What led you to believe such a lie?

It is a lie because we know that evolution gave most individuals in the species about the same amount of intelligence. There are a few exceptions but reason tells us that you do not argue from exceptions to find the rule or the norm. 95% of all the individuals in the speech-using species have about the same amount of intelligence. You have sufficient intelligence to be the architect of your own identity and your life.

Don’t believe for one minute that you have a slow, low or insufficient intelligence. This is the ploy used to make you believe all sorts of lies instead of wanting to know the facts. The fact is: you have sufficient intelligence to know that your life is your responsibility it is not for someone else to tell you what to believe.

In An Inconvenient Lie I show the many tricks in language used to make you believe in your insufficient mind and intelligence. To believe in your ‘insufficient mind’ is to be controlled. It is to believe in falsehoods passed off as Truth.

This is the situation. The falsehoods embedded in language have been passed on to you from ideas hundreds and some even thousands of years old. You had to use these falsehoods called Truth without your knowledge.

The Nature of a Lie

I claim that a global lie exists in our language. The nature of a lie, because it is false information, cannot be successful without a set of supporting lies. So when one knows or speaks of a/one lie they necessarily speak of a whole nest of lies.

Many times a lie is easy to detect. But many a lie is not. Note that people get snared into financial scams and frauds everyday, Madoffs, Duvaliersand Enron’s lurk about everywhere on the take for other people’s money. Note that the people caught in the traps feel very bad about it and lose self-esteem. Failure to protect themselves (plus subsequent poverty) leads to all sorts of mental anguish.

Lies embedded in language however are almost impossible to detect. Moreover they’ve been with you all your life. You learned to read by learning the lies embedded in names! Names you believe to be Truth today! This form of lying is very clever. Individuals, communities and societies lose pride and self-esteem and start to think that they may not be as intelligent as they are. Failure to protect your identity as an honest and trustworthy individual erodes and self-doubts invade. You may think that you are not intelligent enough to be the architect of your own life!

To give you an example if the apple had been named apfig for the last thousand years you would today believe apfig is Truth. To support the nameapfig as Truth other names supporting “fig” would be invented. To support a lie other lies have to be invented.

Both genders see, hear and use names such as “apfig” all the time because they are the only names being used as speech currency. It doesn’t matter which gender is targeted in the false name or for what reason it was done, BOTH genders are harmed in “equal but different” ways. It is the goal in this blog to expose the lie and it’s supporting lies.

Divide to Conquer and Control

We are now getting into the core of “divide to conquer and control.” We are entering the process of Changing 2 = 2 into 2 = 1, Chapter 2 in my book An Inconvenient Lie. Falsify reality, impose lies and invent a big delusional fantasy for the ‘stupid’ masses, is the method used by “higher” men with special/divine power who then do a snow job on your mind using millions of ‘details’ to rationalize the lies –and overwhelm you.

When you operate on belief you allow a ‘holy’ alpha male (in the sky!) to create your identity, he identifies you as ‘belonging to him.” You are his possession: you believe. You are not to ask who, why, what, when, how … Just believe and all is and will be OK.

When you operate on knowledge you ask the right questions. What are the facts? Why are these facts? What is the evidence? Does it make good cause and effect sense? Has logic been used? And so on. So that when you operate on knowledge you are at the job of creating your own unique identity at the same time. No one else on earth lives in the same place, in the same circumstances with the same environment or has the same brain as you. But you choose at all times to know what is what.

A holy alpha male claiming ‘divinity’, special, above all others is a ‘higher’ man, a power monger. He lusts for control over people. The more minds he can control the better. To steamroll over your good mind he has named himself an authority, such a big authority that he 1 knows all there is to know, 2, he sees all there is to see and 3, he is in all places at once. As an authority he arbitrarily sets up these most fantabulous falsehoods. And you believe them. His control of you is so complete that when he names you as his possession by a name to identify you as his possession you allow this to happen. You “serve the Lord.” You chose at sometime in your life to believe. You no longer ask critical questions.

‘Higher’ men ABOVE everyone else have been claiming superiority over others for centuries. This is one reason why history including ancient history should be of great interest to you. For the past 6 - 10,000 years slavery was norm, for the last 4000 years legalized slavery became a system called feudalism. We’ve had over 10,000 years of patriarchy, men competing for places as ‘higher’ men to control others.

So society ‘believes’ that the victims in patriarchy are those that are ‘not male’. This again is belief. Not knowledge. Belief is not knowledge. What does the model of men competing to be the highest of highest, the holiest of holies, do to “lesser” men? For where there are “higher” men, there are “lesser” men. What does this division do to men?

This is why I claim that the 10,000 years of patriarchy harmed both genders in “equal but different” ways.

Manu’s Law 2400BCE: The Copy Cat Law of the Romans 200BCE

Manu’s Law, subjugating one gender to the other gender harmed both in “equal but different” ways. The harm is deep, invisible and complex.

First, a few men bloated with the belief they possessed divinity and special power made it appear to the people to be true by claiming Godhood. They were to be addressed as Lords, Manu being one of these. His greed for power was so great he made slavery legal. Absolute obedience was demanded. Rule by a few men is the foundation of Patriarchy.

Note that I said a few men. The rest of the men were ‘lesser’ men, not divine, and so could be and were also enslaved. Slavery became a global phenomenon. Lords claimed it to be natural, and in fact, God’s plan. This is the circular argument: it (slavery) is so because we say it is so.

Slavery soon grew into a more organized system called feudalism. Now when one looks into the past with the 20/20 vision of hindsight you see that in almost every large group held together by geography, language, colour, etc., there arose a few men who claimed divinity. Gods, Kings, Emperors, Lords … exploded on the scene, to whom all ‘lesser’ beings owed absolute obedience, fealty and fidelity.

So the Roman patriarchs wanted their own God too. In 200BCE the Romans put the ‘Manus’ into law. (Note the similarity between Manu and the Manus as names) The ‘Manus’ was “the authoritative control of the husband over his wife.” It too was claimed to be God’s plan. And it appears three times in the Bible. In between Manu of the Hindi and the Roman ‘Manus’ a divinity was claimed among Jews, Emanuel, a name incorporating the name of Manu. And in 600ACE the Arab nations claimed a divinity and set up another God. Serving the Lord became the definition for being moral.

Feudalism blossomed all over the globe right up to the 17^th Century. It took the species until the 1760’s to see that they were being controlled, that society had been ‘fixed’. Rich and poor, clean and unclean, men and not men, higher men and lesser men, educated and not educated … all intersecting divisions making it easy to control “the masses.”

The species suffered 4000 years of slavery, feudalism and patriarchy. These so deeply harmed both genders that it is naïve to think that we are out of the poisoned and infested woods.

The Two Genders in the Species: Embedding Violence In Language, EVIL

The sum of names, symbols, words and sounds make up what we call language. When names carry lies or are used as a “divide conquer and control” tool, these are embedded violence in language. This is evil.

We have a tendency to take language for granted. We believe language is set for all time. Nothing could be further from the truth.

To “divide conquer and control” the two genders of the species, it had to begin by making them enemies of each other. Manu of the Hindi in 2400BCE subjugated one gender to the other BY LAW. Language developed with the law in mind. Patriarchal Language embedded violence in language, evil, to succeed.

So when violence is defined only by its physical aspect and consequences one of the effects is that it becomes gendered. It divides the genders into victim - and perpetrator. Most violence is divided this way. Divide people to conquer and control them is the patriarchal philosophy of “divide conquer and control.”

This is the bottom line: everyone, that is, both genders receive and learn the same language. So both genders learn the language and philosophy of “divide conquer and control.”

The conclusion: if the language is not changed the aims and attitudes will not change. Violence has to be fought on the whole definition that includes both mental and physical violence by both genders working together. Exclude one and failure is almost surely guaranteed.
