In my blog I speak about lies in names such as wo-man. This being is not a man, yet she is named as one by a name that embeds 'man'. Then the name of what she was before is put out of use so that we have no choice but to use the false name.
Embedding something that is not correct, not true to reality in names, wouldn't work if there were only one name that embeds a falsehood.
In the 13th Century a poet writing a poem had a line ending with "male." His next line would end with "feme." Rhyming was very important in this era so he changed feme to fe +male to make it rhyme.
The name 'feme' was put out of use, we had no choice but to use "fe +male."
Also, before wo -man was coined she had named herself "fem." So what we can say here is that fem's identity as fem and feme were erased and she was, to coin a new term, masculinized as fe -male and wo -man.
As a consequence the whole species is called "mankind" when only half the species are male.
Lies always need more lies. It becomes hard to undo the harms and damages done by lies. The only way is to stop the lies and use the true names.
